Urban road traffic pressure is high, and big traffic data promotes intelligent travel

In November this year, the National Development and Reform Commission's Comprehensive Transportation Research Institute and Ctrip Group formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will carry out long-term and comprehensive deep cooperation to serve the national comprehensive transportation development strategy and transportation economic development. This move shows that big data does play an important role in transportation construction and its application value in transportation is being recognized by the industry.
At present, with the promotion of the industry, the application of big data in the field of transportation is getting deeper and deeper. So, what role does big data play in traffic construction?
On the one hand, with the use of big data technology, combined with HD surveillance video, bayonet data, coil micro-acquisition wave data, and assisted by intelligent research and judgment, traffic management personnel can basically reasonably control the length of traffic lights and improve the traffic efficiency of a single intersection.

At the same time, by collecting traffic information, traffic environment and road condition data, the traffic management department can obtain road condition information in time so as to deal with road safety hazards in time and further ensure the safe travel of vehicles.
